External Aid is the financial resource for gap funding and assistance in the development sector within the State by multilateral / bilateral agencies. Department of Economic Affairs in the Ministry of Finance, Government of India is the Nodal Department for the coordination among multilateral / bilateral agencies, Central Ministries, Niti Aayog and the State.
In Uttarakhand, a separate cell has been constituted for the monitoring of External aided projects (EAPs) under the Department of Planning. ePlatform is an initiative of Government of Uttarakhand for monitoring of all EAPs in the state. The platform is a single source of information related to real time status of all EAPs. This platform helps in data and information management, planning, monitoring and evaluation as well as tracking of procurement process, contract management, physical and financial progress.
